Van services are essential when moving houses but so is the packing exercise. It is better to be prepared in advance or use the services of professional movers who will accompany the van driver during the removals. If you are still keeping the boxes where items were placed during purchase, it is advisable to place them there when you are moving. You should use foam that was used to pack computers or sound equipment.
The van movers will offer guidance on the right way of packaging if the original boxes are not there. The fragile equipment can be put in new ones and wrapped with several layers of paper or other soft material. The box should be clearly marked so that those involved in the moving can notice them. Remote consoles should be packed into a different package. During removals, switches and power cables should be placed in one package.
